Aerospace Industry
Materials for Aerospace products must meet rigorous FAR specifications for flammability. Extensive product knowledge is a commodity
that the combined Gavco Team has, with over 165 years of combined plastics knowledge shared between 7 team members. Gavco Plastic’s
clientele features Top Tier Global Aerospace companies. We work hand and hand with engineers from conception of a product through
product realization. Often reverse engineering is required to determine the makeup of a part and how it can be produced in a cost
saving scenario.
Quality:
Traceability of a products beginning, is a prerequisite for Aerospace parts. Often additional testing for Flammability is required to
satisfy the contractual requirements. Once the design is approved, tooling built and sample parts have been accepted then a First Article
Inspection on those parts is required for acceptance of the product.
Gavco Plastics has been AS9100 certified since December 8, 2005. We are also listed as a supplier in the I.A.Q.G.
